I like to start my review of this brilliantly written book by giving the definition of Sacrifice.
Sacrifice means giving to the Lord whatever he requires of our time, our earthly possessions, and our energies to further his work.
As I journeyed through this book. I came to realize that the author is a living testament to the power of sacrifice. To be so transparent and a willingness to expose oneself for the benefit of others is amazing. What a selfless act.
Another I found amazing is how the author allowed the reader to tap into her mindset and be a participant throughout the reading. It was if the reader was reading a movie script and watching it being played out, scene by scene, frame by frame. As you progress through, you can hear and feel the emotions, the desperation, the sadness, the clinching of faith and the joy of hope. What a wonderful work.
Self Sacrifice! What does it mean? It means pure and honest motivation to alleviate the suffering of others. Which leads me to the Sacrificial Gift. A Sacrificial Gift has no strings. It is given freely as God has given to us. Because the motive for the giving is a Grateful Response rather than an expected return.
One can tell by my responding review that I am truly grateful unto the Lord for leading me to such a great read.
Also, to the author of whom the Lord has tasked with bringing forth such a wonderful work. May the Lord continue to guide and use you for the benefit of all mankind, and also reward you handsomely accordingly to his righteousness, for having the courage and audacity to expose oneself for the prevention and benefit of others.
